What to Expect
When you arrive for your first visit, we’ll greet you and make you feel welcome and at home. You’ll sit down with Dr. Phil to discuss your health history, current issues and your goals for care. Then, he’ll conduct a thorough examination to locate the underlying cause of your pain or other symptoms.
If he believes X-rays or MRIs are medically necessary, he will refer you out for those.
Dr. Phil will explain his findings and how our care may be able to help. He’ll answer all of your questions, and if you’re ready to begin, you’ll most likely receive your first adjustment or other therapies at this visit.
At your next appointment, Dr. Phil will assess how well your body responded to care and tailor your adjustments accordingly to help you get out of pain and back to moving properly as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Care for Auto Accident Patients
For our patients who have been hurt in a motor vehicle accident, you may also see our nurse practitioner, Elizabeth, at your first visit. She is authorized to provide the Emergency Medical Certification (EMC) needed to ensure you get the care you need following a car crash.
Please note that Florida law states that you must be seen by an authorized healthcare provider within 14 days of a car accident.
